Meeting Recap: Image Quantification & Object Measurement with FIJI/ImageJ

On Monday, June 26th, we convened for another educational Open MIC session. In front of a packed room, Justin Price gave a presentation on “Image Quantification and Object Measurement with FIJI/ImageJ”. The focus was on using the Analyze Particles tool to help with extracting data from images.

An overview of Image Quantification

After a brief introduction on how to approach image analysis and the general workflow, Justin demonstrated how Analyze Particles works and what kind of data we can obtain using it. Following the formal presentation, a few people asked for specific recommendations on how to tackle their image analysis issues.

I think we all came away with some new information on how to use Analyze Particles a little better. Thanks to Justin for putting together an educational presentation!
